HAYWARD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
23rd ANNUAL BUSINESS EXPO
and
COMMUNITY SHOWCASE
WEDNESDAY – April 9, 2008
CENTENNIAL HALL 3:00 – 7:00 pm
Business
Expo, now in its 23rd year, is frequently referred to as
"network heaven"
The Hayward Chamber Of Commerce
is proud to present the 23rd Annual Business EXPO, the largest trade show in
Southern Alameda County.
This event will showcase both
large and small businesses of many types and will again attract 500-600
attendees: chamber members, and other business people from the community as well
as the general public. Admission is $10, and 8,000 complimentary tickets are
sent to Chamber members and businesses in the surrounding area.
The EXPO is held at Centennial
Hall, a convention facility in north Hayward, on Foothill Blvd. (a major
thoroughfare about one mile from the juncture of highways 580 and 238). The
facility is 140’ x 100’ with many adjacent smaller rooms and can hold about 100
exhibitors in 8’ x 10’ pipe and drape booths with 3’ sides and 8’ backs. Each
booth includes a 3’ x 6’ skirted table.
Our exhibitors represent a
broad spectrum of Chamber businesses—auto dealers and financial institutions,
advertising and retail, telecommunications and educational institutions, health
care and not for profits, breweries and restaurants, florists and newspapers,
storage facilities and employment agencies. EXPO is appropriate for any business
or service desiring hundreds of prospects dropping in to see them in a four-hour
period (and at a most economical cost per contact).
During the months preceding the
event, articles and pictures will appear in the Chamber’s newsletter, Hayward
Business News, which is distributed to all 44,000 subscribers of The Daily
Review every other month. EXPO is also publicized through fliers in the Chamber
Pak in January and March as well as being listed in the Community Calendar of
our buyers’ guide/membership directory and on our web page.
Another publicity source for
EXPO includes ads and calendar listings in the local and Bay Area newspapers as
well as local cable TV stations. Other major sources of publicity for EXPO are
the electronic reader board at Southland Mall on Interstate 880, eSignal’s
electronic board on Highway 92, and the marquee for Centennial Hall. There are
over 100,000 vehicles passing each of these signs every day.
Corporate sponsorships are
available for $1000 and exhibitors’ fee is $375 for Chamber members and $675 for
non members.
Don’t miss out on the year’s
greatest business and networking opportunity!
